Approved!!  On Tuesday, May 1st – the Granbury City Council consented to let Pontoon Me, LLC dba Beachside Toys and Takeout re-open the tiki hut on Lake Granbury City beach.

Beachside will rent kayaks, paddle boards, tubes, bicycles and surreys along with offering a variety of refreshing snacks.  ‘Billy and I love that this business is all about having fun with friends’, says Co-owner Shylo.

Owners, Billy and Shylo Preston, moved to Granbury from Dallas in July of 2017.  It seems that beach sand is in their blood, as they met in 1996 while both were working in the Cayman Islands.   After marrying on the beach in 1998, they relocated to Dallas in 2000, where Billy worked as a marketing Recruiter and Shylo works as a Kitchen & Bath Designer.   ‘One sunny Saturday we ate lunch with friends in the Granbury Square and we fell in love with it’ says Shylo, ‘and then it seems in a blink we were calling Granbury home’.

‘We have huge respect for the Granbury merchants we’ve met’ adds Billy, ‘and we’re honored to be counted among them’.   Billy and Shylo are looking forward to seeing all of their new friends down at the beach!
